When placing items into ozone bags or the use of ozone products, it has the potential to damage the lamination on Pnuma gear. Ozone eliminators eat at the rubberization and
elasticity, which break down the composition of the lamination. If placed in the eliminators or if ozone sprays are applied, this then voids Pnuma's life time warranty.
We have previously attempted to distinguish between products with differing levels of rubber or elastic which responded differently to our testing. However, we have continued to test the impact of ozone on our gear and are recommending that you not use ozone products on gear with elastic or rubber content. While it is possible that some garments will not be impacted, we prefer to err on the side of caution.
Please note our lifetime guarantee will not cover apparel damage to rubber or elastic caused by the use of ozone products.
